Inspired by the running singlets worn by some of Spokane's most accomplished runners in the 1960s and 1970s, our Harrier singlet was created to combine old-school design with modern materials. Printed, sewn, and manufactured in Spokane, Washington, USA, this polyester singlet features a retro sash across the front with our Lilac City logo placed front and center. This singlet is constructed with contrasting stitching along the edge seams for a more striking appearance. The 509 on the bottom corner was modeled after iron-on inventory numbers found on school uniforms, and is a nod to the Inland Northwest's area code. The back of the singlet features our wordmark in big contrasting letters, big enough for all your competition to see as you pass them by.
We wanted to create a singlet that has an identity. In a sea of monochromatic options and generic all-over prints, we wanted to create something that hearkened back to a golden age of running. Spokane's history is steeped in running lore, and we wanted to honor that legacy in this design. It was important for us to manufacture these here in Spokane, to promote and participate in our local economy. These singlets are from Spokane, designed for your pursuits across the Inland Northwest and beyond.
The word "harrier" is as much a title as a description. A harrier is an old term for a cross-country runner, but nowadays it is often reserved for runners who show daily dedication and diligence for the sport.
This singlet is in men's sizing, with a cut meant for men and women. We recommend women size down to get their best-fitting size (women's size medium = men's size small). Please refer to the sizing chart to assist in purchasing the correct size.
